Reflective.
I was tasked to design a logo that would be embroidered onto a jacket and given to students for an upcoming San Francisco Technology trip. Since it is an embroidery, the logo did not have to be super simplistic or adaptable to a variety of circumstances, which enabled the design to have strong clarity and be very specific.
The trip was a collaboration between North Sydney Boys High School and Normanhurst Boys High School. This meant that the logo had to be reflective of three components
North Sydney Boys High School
Normanhurst Boys High School
The Trip Themes (Technology, San Francisco, etc.)
North Sydney Boys was known for their iconic falcon, while Normanhurst was known for their tree, and San Francisco; the beautiful skyline with the golden gate bridge.

Thus, the logo featured these elements.
These were the two primary designs considered for the logo:

Due to the better text readability, the second one was chosen.
However, it was found that the design had too many minute details for an embroidery, and thus the design was adapted as shown:

These were then embroidered onto the jacket:

...
This was overall a relatively simple project that required adapting online graphics and combining them to make a single cohesive logo that reflected several themes. It was done in a short time-frame due to the time-sensitive nature and late notice. However, the result was still a logo that reflected the schools in a clear way and students were proud to wear it on their trip.
